Brand Design
Wipro’s service transformation team created a dongle that goes inside a car and makes any car – a connected car. Powered by machine-learning algorithms, built-in sensors, and Artificial Intelligence it can track car’s location, condition & health in real-time. It also studies driving behavior and can offer insights on better driving. Wipro wanted us to envisage business use cases, co-create the future vision, and design the user experience for the platform. We also helped Wipro to design the brand, packaging, and marketing collaterals for Wipro Autoinsights.
We interviewed stakeholder to understand the current capabilities and vision of the platform. We interviewed car owners to understand their relationship with their car and capture their experiences. We conducted workshops with experts from automobile, insurance, and OEMs to understand use-cases of the metadata produced in the platform to produce meaningful insights and services that can be used by the users and stakeholders from different domains. Based on all the information and insights we created the future vision and experience road-map for the platform. We also defined the brand messaging and mobile experience for the platform.

Research
Product Study & User Research
We interviewed product stakeholders to understand its capabilities, value proposition, and vision statement. We interviewed different users to understand their relationship with car, and to capture the specifics on their driving experiences, concerns, and expectations. We also conducted desk research to study similar services by understanding their offerings and their user’s feedbacks.

Future Vision
Business Domains & Trend Analysis
We co-created with stakeholders and domain SME’s to explore underlying technologies, upcoming trends, and applications in different domains that helps to define different business scenarios, future vision and the road-map of the platform.
User Personas & Startegic Focus Areas
We identified three different user personas and captured their need, expectaions, and challenges. We defined the strategic focus area to steer the future vision and experience of the connected platform.

Experience Roadmap
How Might We...
We grouped the research findings into strategic focus areas and identified 2- 3 key insights into each. We conducted co-ideation sessions with Autoinsights stakeholders and used HMW method for each key insight to draw ideas. We further categorised the ideas into immediate, short term, and long-term plan to define the experience road-map for the product.
Future Storyboards
We used the ideas to create story-boards for future scenarios that depict the product vision and road-map of the platform.

Experience Design
Information Architecture
We created content inventory from the future vision &conducted card-sorting exercise to create the app architecture. We created scenario wise task-flows and wireframes to depict the user flows in the app.
Design system, Branding, & Detail Designs
Based on makets trends and insights derived from the research, we defined the experience principles of the platform to steer the user experience & interaction patterns. We used atomic-model to create the detailed Design system for the platform. The design system ensures consistency and creates the framework for component library for faster development and quick iterations. We also extended the design system to define the branding guidelines and created branding assets to be used at different touch-points.
